Rev. Father John Adeyi Found Dead In Benue Two Months After he Was Kidnapped

Two months after his kidnap,the decaying corpse of kidnapped Rev. Father, John Adeyi was onWednesday found in Otukpa, Benue State as police and villagers besieged the back of Local Government secretariat where the body was dumped by his suspected abductors.

 Father Adeyi, the vicar general of the Otukpo catholic Diocese was kidnapped by unknown gunmen  in April, ‎along Odoba Otukpa-Okwungaga road.

He was never found even though the Benue State Government made an offer of N5 Million to anyone who could supply information on his whereabouts until his body was discovered at the back of the LGA Secretariat at Otukpa, Ogbadibo Local Government Area.

 Sources say the kidnappers got payment of N2 million as ransom but didn’t release the reverend father.
